In Kamloops, experience and explore the joys of farming. Agritourism allows you to feel country life with your hands, taste the delicious extractions from the land, hear the soft and soothing sounds of wind blown grass, hear farm animals calling to one another, and — best of all — allow the sweet air take over your mind.

Farms in the Kamloops area are mostly family-owned and operated. They know their operation and are able to provide the best education and experience possible. Agritourism is a truly memorable way to get to know local people, their culture, and get up close to delicious unprocessed foods. It’s an activity the whole family can be involved in. It’s never too late to learn new production methods and teach the children about different ways of growing and harvesting food.

Kamloops is home to sheep farms, working cattle ranches, horseback riding stables, honey farms, vegetable farms, greenhouse operations, farms with on-site cheese-making, cosmetics made from herbs, dairy farms, fruit stands, U-pick orchards and berry farms, nurseries, heritage farms, wineries, and even a brewery - all within an hour's drive of downtown Kamloops. Savour the sweet scent of honeysuckle flowering, long windows of freshly cut alfalfa, timothy, peas and corn, barley, and grass. Many operations feature natural and certified organic produce.
