Pick your Tree @ Woodward Family Christmas Tree Farm – November 28th to December 20th, 2015

We have hay rides, a concession, Christmas sing-a-longs, a big bonfire and mulled wine on weekends, all centred around the magical experience of choosing your own fresh tree.  We are open daily for the season beginning Saturday, November 28th until December 21st 10am to 4pm AND the tasting room at the winery will be open as well. Christmas @ The Courthouse – November 28th and 29th, 2015

This annual event showcases many quality items for sale by artists and artisans in the beautiful venue of the Old Courthouse building. Vendors interested in participating should print the application form here and bring it in to the Courthouse Gallery. One of the members will contact you. You are invited to enjoy the food, music and fun while shopping for Christmas gifts and treasures. Parking is available at the Courthouse and any City of Kamloops lot. Santa Claus Parade @ Downtown Kamloops – November 28th, 2015

The parade begins at 2nd & St. Paul -travels North on 2nd Avenue and East on Victoria St. to 6th Avenue where it will disperse in the 600 Block Victoria St.. The parade runs from 11am to approximately 12:30pm. Click here for more information.

CP Holiday Train - December 17, 2015

The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train hits the rails again on November 27 and will be visiting over 150 communities across their network. Each event features a boxcar stage, a lineup of great musical talent and a contribution to the local food bank. Everyone who attends is encouraged to donate food and money which stays in their community. The CP Holiday Train will arrive in Kamloops on December 17th at 5:05pm at the north side of Interior Savings on Lorne Street.  Make sure to arrive at least 15 minutes before the event start time to see the train pull in. Before 1837, Christmas, as we know it, was basically unheard of. The Victorian era transformed the idea of Christmas to be centered on the family.
