WELCOME TO KAMLOOPS AIRPORT YKA

Air Canada offers daily non-stop flights from Vancouver and Calgary
The Kamloops Airport is one the most important economic hubs in the region and we recognize the significant role the airport plays in supporting the city’s social and economic wellbeing. Currently the airport facilitates regular air service to eight destinations in British Columbia and Alberta, including Vancouver, Kelowna, Prince George and Calgary.

The main airlines operating out of the Kamloops Airport are Air Canada Jazz, Central Mountain Air (privately owned and operated), Pacific Coastal Airlines and Horizon Air.

Horizon Air flies daily from Seattle December to April

The Airport infrastructure includes two asphalt runways — one 1,800 metres and the other 622 metres in length. The airport provides navigational aids such as a localizer with distance-measuring equipment and non-directional beacon, and an omni directional approach lighting system. The terminal itself is 598 square metres and has eight check-counters.

Additionally, the airport has facilities for small airplane repair, engine rebuilding and aircraft salvage facilities, avionics specialists, charter operations, a flying school, an air tank base, and a forest fire control centre.

The airport is only 10 minutes from downtown — allowing you to spend less time traveling and more time enjoying our vibrant city. A fabulous pilot's lounge has been developed by Shell Aviation for all of the corporate and private pilots.

New! Kamloops is proud to have Pacific Coastal Airlines providing service to and from Kamloops Airport! This family run airline was founded by CEO and Director Daryl Smith over 30 years ago. Pacific Coastal Airlines is a well-established name on the Canadian West Coast employing over 300 people in 18 bases with a fleet of 24 aircraft. Pacific Coastal Airlines is based at Vancouver's convenient & user-friendly South Terminal. This terminal is designed to be a "smart terminal" for busy travelers. It offers reduced congestion, short check-in lineups, short walks to gates and affordable parking, and most popular, a complimentary walk-on shuttle service to/from the Main Terminal.
