CANADIAN MOTOCROSS NATIONALS
The Canadian Motorsport Racing Club President Mark Stallybrass recently announced that just outside of Kamloops at the Whispering Pines race track we will be hosting the 2009 Canadian Motocross Nationals.
The event has been held in Nanaimo for the past 10 years, but due to the increasing transportation costs, it was no longer financially feasible.
The event will attract over 600 riders from amateur to Pro. In past years it has brought in nearly a million dollars into the community from athletes and spectators as well as global television coverage to nearly 500 million households throughout the UK and Canada.
We are very excited for this opportunity to showcase our great city, and Canada's Tournament Capital!
