CLIMB TO YOUR HEART’S CONTENT

Enjoy the warm sun on your back and feel the sense of accomplishment while soaking in the beautiful terrain and a magnificent sunrise or sunset. Getting out and going for a climb is a great way to test your endurance. Kamloops is home to many great climbs that offer varying degrees of intensity.

Head out to The Beach on Kamloops Lake for a nice day climb, or make it a an overnight camping trip and make your way to the gorgeous Marble Canyon rocks, the bouldering areas at Oregon Jack, or the more forested areas at Roche Lake.

Recommended Areas

The Beach is located 40 minutes west of Kamloops, off the W.T.C Hwy, just past Savona at 6 Mile Hill. Great view. Rates from 5.6 to 5.10, and is not a multi-pitch

Roche Lake is 45 minutes south on Hwy 5A. Rates from 5.6 to 5.12 and is not a multi-pitch.

Marble Canyon is located on Hwy 99 between Cache Creek and Lillooet. A multi-pitch climb that rates from 5.8-5.10

Oregon Jack is the newest area. Turn right in Cache Creek and then down Hat Creek Road. Offers the only bouldering areas in Kamloops.
