A Chamber of Commerce must fulfill the needs of their particular community and not many Chambers have exactly the same mandate. The Kamloops, the Chamber provides three services:
>An Information Centre
>Provider of Benefits to Chamber Members
>Advocate for Business to all levels of Government.
As an information centre, they provide both business and visitor information to the public. The Chamber office answers over 30,000 requests each year, giving out business information of all kinds. Their top-ranking Visitor Centre serves over 40,000 people per year and they mail out packages to hundreds of people interested in moving or visiting here.
