Alpine bowls, hills climbs, and long stretches of trails that provide untouched fresh powder make the Kamloops region truly a sledder’s paradise. Snowmobiling is a thrilling activity to do with family members and friends. Many backcountry lodges in the area are winterized, making a great destination adventure. Or stay in a hotel in Kamloops and enjoy a delectable steak dinner followed by some live music downtown.

Sun Peaks Resort (Tod Mountain)
· Excellent groomed trails ranging from novice to intermediate; lots of fresh powder
· Elevation: 4,500-7,000 feet
· Just 45 minutes from Kamloops!

Rossmore Lake
· Snow Depth - 2 metres; Elevation 1,200-1,800 metres
· Approximately 30 minutes from Kamloops
· Excellent snow conditions and a long riding season

Adams Plateau
· About 1 hour northeast of Kamloops, near Shuswap Lake
· Excellent trails, meadows and beautiful scenery
· Long riding season with snow depths about 3 metres

Greenstone Mountain
· Novice to intermediate trails, lakes and logging roads; good connector route to Logan Lake's trail system and through tunkwa lake and Forge Mountain
· Snow depths of approximately 2 metres; Elevation of 1,200 to 1,500 metres
· Located just 20 minutes outside of Kamloops

Green Mountain and Indian Meadows
· Located about 1 hours north of Kamloops (near Barriere)
· Novice, intermediate, and challenging riding trails, roads, alpine, and roads. Green mountain · · Provides ravines and hills suitable for expert riders
· Elevation: 1,200-2,100 metres
