Saturday:

> Enjoy a family breakfast at one of Kamloop's many family-friendly restaurants.

> Head out to the BC Wildlife Park to take advantage of the morning sunshine. View over 65 species such as cougars, a black bear, grizzlies, moose and more! There's also daily animal encounters, an indoor reptile cneter, a miniature train ride and a splash park with playground.

> After spending a few hours hard at play, it will be time to eat again. See the actual location of the Bill Miner train robbery while having lunch at the Gateway Travel Center/Billy Miner Roadhouse. Or, on your way to your next adventure, stop at one of the many ethnic eateries on Kamloops' North Shore.

> Following lunch, beat the heat by heading indoors at the Big Little Science Centre, which features over 150 hands-on science displays.

> Next, enjoy a fun game of bowling (located next to the Big Little Science Centre), or go mini-golfing at McArthur Island or Miss Wende's Adventure Golf.

> Then its time for dinner. People watch on Victoria Street at one of the many sidewalk cafes.

> After dinner, walk down to Riverside Park and get an ice cream cone from Scoops. Head down to the Rotary Bandshell with your treats to listen to some live music from 7 - 8:30pm while the kids play in the park.

 

Sunday:

> Breakfast

> Enjoy your last afternoon in Kamloops at one of our great provincial park day use areas. Pack a picnic and head to Lac Le Jeune or Paul lake for an afternoon of swimming and hiking. You'll be nice and refreshed for your trip home.
