Adams River Salmon Run in Kamloops, BC
Friday:
> Arrive in Kamloops and have dinner at one of Kamloops, BC's 200 restaurants. Enjoy the fall colors while eating at a restaurant with a view.
> Next, it's time to check out the Kamloops Live Music Scene. The city of Kamloops is full of local artists, and there's no better night than Friday to tune in. Venues range from pubs to coffee shops, and everything in between. Johnny Reid, The Stampeders, Dr.Hook, Esnesto Cervini and Barra MacNeils are just some of the names coming through Kamloops this fall! Check our events listing to see who is playing.
> After the last song has ended, wander down Victoria Street to grab a late night bite to eat before heading back to your accommodation.
Saturday:
> Start off your day with a delicious breakfast. Perhaps some fresh fruit and baking from the Farmers' Market, or sip on a latte at one of Kamloops' many restaurants.
> Sign up for a Nature Photography Tour with Kelly Funk and take some amazing photos while at the Salmon Run.
> On your way home from the Salmon Run, be sure to stop in at the BC Wildlife Park. The Wildlife Park features over 70 animals that are native to BC including cougars, wolves, moose and more! This is a must see so be sure to plan for approximately 2 hours.
> Afterwards, take a break, have some dinner and re-fuel. Head back to your accommodation, change, and get ready for an evening stroll.
> The evening is all about exploring our local trails. There is still a few hours left of daylight so take a walk along the river on the popular River's Trail or get in a short hike at one of the city's many parks.

Sunday:
>What better way to start your day than a beautiful horse back ride through fall foliage. Kamloops has two different riding stables to choose from; both offer hourly rides and beautiful views.
> Before leaving, be sure to take in some local history. Stop into the Secwepemc Museum and Heritage park located just off of Highway 5 North. Tour the indoor achieves and then make your way outside to the interpretive trails to learn about local First Nation culture.
> Grab a bite to eat before departing and start planning for your next visit!
