Tourism Kamloops Launches 2006 Visitors Guide
Friday, May 19th, 2006
Kamloops, B.C.: Tourism Kamloops is pleased to announce the launch of its 2006 Official Tourism Kamloops Visitor’s Guide. The Visitors Guide is an annual publication which offers locals and visitors to Kamloops information on summer and winter activities, accommodation choices, cultural experiences, and events.

“We’re are very proud and excited to launch the 2006 Visitors Guide,” said Tourism Kamloops CEO Lee Morris. The 2006 guide is a full colour magazine publication distributed at the Kamloops Visitor Centre, local hotels and restaurants, as well as at travel industry trade shows and Information Centres throughout BC and Alberta. “You can also download it from our website at tourismkamloops.com,” commented Morris.

There will be 50,000 Visitors Guides in distribution encouraging visitors to choose Kamloops as their destination this summer. “The design is fresh and exciting, designed by a local designer, and we have worked hard to capture the unique flavour of Kamloops,” says Lee Morris. “It was important to us that the Visitors Guide provided ideas on enhancing your stay in Kamloops, to have visitors stay longer and to return again. To that end, the photos and information do a great job of showcasing our city.”

Copies of the 2006 Tourism Kamloops Official Visitors Guide can be picked-up at the Kamloops Visitors Centre at 1290 West Trans Canadas Highway.
