Ahoy Mateys!! What do pirates, treasure and cold, cold winter have in common? Well, it’s X Marks THE Spot, of course! On January 12, 2008, set your sails for Project X Theatre Productions’ pirate party disguised as a fundraiser, X Marks THE Spot. For just $20, you can sail aboard HMS Project X to the Caribbean for a night and join the fun at Tortuga. Sample from the sailor’s snacks, be captured by a treasure hunt and do your own hornpipe to some fantastic music. Don’t forget to belly-up to the Captain’s Cocktail bar and see what’s on the menu (or who) and toast your friends with the grog of your choice… But be warned, this is the realm of the pirate and there may be those who would rather you walked the plank…

Come as a buccaneer, a pirate wench or your favourite member of the East India Trading Company… Anyway you dress, you’re sure to have a rollicking good time. Can’t find a thing to wear? Visit Pandora’s Costume Box at their new permanent home (753 Victoria Street) - $5 from every rental for X Marks THE Spot will be donated to Project X.

Proceeds from X Marks THE Spot will go toward our January production of Michael Healey’s Kicked, running January 30 to February 2, 2008 at the Old Courthouse.
