A little city packed with a lot of adventure
By Diane Selkirk
Anyone who travels knows: there are holiday destinations, and there are stops along the way. The holiday destinations are easy to define, they’re the places everyone you know has either been or wants to go. Stops along the way are something different, they’re usually known as convenient rests en route to somewhere else. This is why an invite to spend a few days in Kamloops came as a surprise. Best known as a gas and burger stop, notes a full-fledged destination, I wondered what I’d do to fill my time in the “Tournament Capital of Canada,” especially because I wouldn’t be taking in a game.
