Nominations Open for 2nd Annual Tourism Kamloops BOLD Hospitality Awards

November 15, 2017, Kamloops, British Columbia – They’re back! Nominations are now open for the 2nd Annual Tourism Kamloops BOLD Hospitality Awards. These awards celebrate local hospitality rock stars, the boldest and best on the front lines, who provide exceptional service ensuring Kamloops visitors feel welcome and inspired to return time and again.
Tourism Kamloops has once again teamed up with the Kamloops Blazers to host a super fun, home-grown awards program. A must-attend event for all hospitality businesses - nominees, finalists and winners will be recognized at a casual awards reception at the Valley First Lounge at Sandman Centre followed by a hometown Blazers game Wednesday, February 28th, 2018.
“Our hospitality ambassadors are so important to Kamloops and are usually the first point of contact for visitors to the city. They play an integral role in creating amazing memories throughout a stay. It is an honour to celebrate our hospitality rock stars, and we’ll do so in a “Boldly Unscripted” fashion this year,” notes Beverley DeSantis, Tourism Kamloops CEO.
Six awards categories for nomination include:
• Food & Beverage “foh” of the Year (front of house)
• Food & Beverage “boh” of the Year (back of house)
• Accommodation “foh” of the Year (front of house)
• Accommodation “boh” of the Year (back of house)
• Tourism Attractions Leader of the Year
• Tourism Services Leader of the Year
