November 27, 2019 – It’s official! Nominations for 4th Annual Tourism Kamloops BOLD Hospitality Awards was one for the record books. A total of 83 nominations were received.
The BOLD Hospitality Awards recognize Kamloops' greatest hospitality rock stars from across the local tourism industry. This program provides a tribute to front line and behind the scenes staff who provide exceptional customer service every day. These amazing individuals welcome guests to our city and work to ensure they keep coming back again and again.
Nominations were submitted for 6 awards categories:
- Accommodation “foh” of the Year – Front of House
- Accommodation “boh” of the Year – Back of House
- Food & Beverage “foh” of the Year – Front of House
- Food & Beverage “boh” of the Year – Back of House
- Tourism Attractions Leader of the Year
- Tourism Services Leader of the Year
A nominations committee of hospitality leaders will review and score the nominations to narrow to 3 finalists leading to a final winner in each award category.

Tourism Kamloops continues to partner with the Kamloops Blazers to host a super fun, home-grown awards program. A must-attend event for all hospitality businesses - nominees, finalists and winners will be recognized at a casual awards reception at the Valley First Lounge at Sandman Centre followed by a hometown Blazers game on Wednesday, January 29th, 2020.
