Santa Claus Parade
The Santa Claus Parade in downtown Kamloops has moved to a new day and time. This year's event, presented by Thompson Rivers University, will be held on Sunday, November 17 beginning at 4pm. The parade route starts at 2nd Ave & St. Paul Street, making its way towards Victoria Street and continuing to 6th Ave. For details on parking, where to spectate, and how to enter the parade, visit downtownkamloops.com.
Sip your way into the holiday season at the Kamloops Wine Trail Holiday Open House with complimentary wine tastings, holiday treats and shopping for the wine lover in your life. Each winery offers a unique experience, visit all three and enter to win the 12 Wines for Christmas contest.
CP Holiday Train
The annual CP Holiday Train will roll into town at 4:30pm with a free concert from country star Terri Clark starting from 5-5:30pm. Please bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Kamloops Food Bank.
Spirit of Christmas Train
Experience the magic of Christmas on the Spirit of Christmas Train, a one-hour whimsical train ride through a Kamloops night. The evening starts with hot chocolate, cookies, and carols before taking your assigned seat aboard the magically-lit heritage train. Explore the decorated train carts and receive a surprise from special guests. The excursion starts at 7pm on December: 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21. There are two Sunday trips that depart at 4pm on Dec 8 and 15.

Visit the BC Wildlife Park nightly from 5-9pm for the 22nd Annual Wildlights Festival. Take in spectacular light displays and other family-friendly experiences such as bonfires, hot chocolate, a train ride, and a snack shack.
