Kamloops is a great place to getaway to. Close to get to, but a world away. Here is a sample itinerary for your weekend visit!

 

Friday:

Arrive in Kamloops and visit one of Kamloop's 200+ restaurants for dinner. Choose from a wide variety from fine dining, to coffee shops, to bistros.  Pop up the hill to Sweet Home Café and relax while the kids burn off some energy!  Following this, head on over to Fun & Games or Fun Factor to wear off some more energy before bedtime - for you and your young ones! With tons of games and prizes to be won, it is a great way to spend the remainder of your evening.  Head to your accommodation for a good night's sleep!

Saturday: 

Enjoy a family breakfast at one of Kamloops' many family-friendly restaurants. Head indoors at the Big Little Science Centre which opens at 10am and features over 150 hands-on science displays - you'll need at least an hour here! Next, enjoy a fun game of bowling at Bowlertime. Now it's definitely time to eat. Check out North Kamloops for a multitude of world flavours. After lunch, try your hand at rock climbing at the Cliffside Climbing gym. See how high you can go! Next up, challenge yourself to jump off the high dive at the Canada Games Pool. With lap lanes, diving bards, waterslide and kids wading pool, there is something for everyone. You'll have worked up an appetite at this point so head to Aberdeen Mall food court and try a few different things. Lastly, catch an early flick at the Paramount Theatre downtown or the Cineplex Odeon in Aberdeen. 

Sunday: 

Go bananas at Lil Monkey's Treehouse or Rivercity Gymnastics... both are fantastic options to burn off some energy before hitting the road.
