Summer is here! Soak up the warm Kamloops sunshine while enjoying a refreshing drink or delicious meal on one of the city's many sunny patios. Grab a seat, soak up the sun, and indulge in some drinks and culinary delights on these five patios in Kamloops.

Red Beard Cafe

Red Beard Cafe’s new patio is triple in size and offers seating for around 72 people with variegated maple pergolas! - check out the variegated maple that is already in full glory at the centre of the patio! The dog-friendly patio also has space for 40 bikes to park, so you can cycle there or take your furry friend for lunch. Look out for seasonal specials featuring local ingredients, classic favourites such as brie and bacon burgers, and 18 ever-changing taps of craft beer and cider.

Cordo Resto + Bar

Are you a sidewalk patio fan? Cordo Sidewalk Patio is open daily (weather dependent) for lunch and dinner, with a daily Cordo Patio Hour featuring small plates, regionally inspired dishes from Executive Chef Mitch Shafer that include local meats & cheeses from Helmut’s in Vernon, local fresh pasta from Sorriso’s on the North Shore, beautiful trout from Ted’s Trout near Little Fort, and fresh produce from Thistle farms, as well as local wine, beer, and fruit liquors, wine and beer offers, and a feature craft cocktail.

Try the Craft Gin Flight or a seasonal sip made by expert mixologists who create delicious and exciting signature cocktails and martinis using fresh ingredients paired with regional spirits like Black Moon Smoked Rosemary Gin from Naramata.

The Noble Pig

Escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life at the 80-seater patio at The Noble Pig. Built inside an old swimming pool, the edges of the swimming area are used as bench seating and the patio is covered in a cedar pergola that has hops cascading over it. Sip on a summer beer or one of the rotating radlers that will be changing flavours all summer, with two always on tap for the sunny months!

Brownstone Restaurant

Brownstone Restaurant is blessed with a large, beautiful garden patio with plenty of space between tables. Sip on a rose flight and indulge in share plates on the mostly shaded patio (with some full-sun tables available on the sidewalk patio for guests who love to soak up the rays!). Speaking of heat, the restaurant has patio heaters and some incredibly soft blankets available for those chilly evenings.

Reservations are recommended and walk-ins are welcome, with the patio opening at 5pm Tuesday through Saturday.

Carlos O’Bryan’s

Sun (and shade) seekers can choose from two patios at Carlos O’Bryan’s! The expanded sidewalk patio has four tables located on the shady side of the street, and there are eight tables located on the rooftop for the sun worshippers. Heaters and blankets are available to cuddle up with in the cooler evenings, and up on the roof, there is a roaring fireplace to warm up around.
