With many lakes in the Kamloops area, you would be remiss to not explore the picturesque waters. Get out on Kamloops Lake via kayak, motorboat, or wade in from the beach at Bruker Marina and Beach Club. Heffley Lake, located 25 minutes north of Kamloops, is home to Paddle Surfit, owned by Bodie Shandro, and Canada’s 1st professionally certified SUP instructor. Rent a board, take a lesson, and take in the scenic mountainside views of the area. 

If you prefer a roam through the grasslands, visit Campbell Hills Guest Ranch to experience a horseback trail ride through the hills of Barnhartvale. Or, feed your soul with the Mills family at Erin Valley Riding Stables and experience some of the best riding trails that BC has to offer.
