Found myself immersed among a Wild Salmon Caravan parade. [Went to check out the salmon run]
2017 is the pre-dominant year for the annual salmon run where you can see 10,000+ salmon spawning at Roderick Haig-Brown Provincial Park. With tons of diverse trails leading along all aspects of the Adams River and a viewing platform, you're sure to see many! The Wild Salmon Caravan also made a stop in Kamloops, which is a celebration of the spirit of the salmon through a parade in the downtown. Always a highly anticipated event during the fall season, be sure to make a trip for next year's dominant year where you can enjoy a Salute to the Sockeye celebration held the first 3 weeks of October and a chance to see millions of salmon!
