September at the Kamloops Visitor Centre
September is a great month at the Visitor Centre! The visitors we have the pleasure to assist are often here for a few days and have a little extra time to really enjoy what Kamloops has to offer. We always try to provide them with just a few more things to do than they might have originally indicated they had time for, in hopes that they will stay longer or plan another stay with us in the future.
As you may know, September is a great month for fishing in the Kamloops area, so we did lend our free rods and tackle out to several families. Even if they do not catch anything they tell us how much they enjoyed the day(s) outdoors.
September is the month that we sadly say goodbye to our summer students as they return to their studies at university. They have shared their knowledge and passion for Kamloops wonderfully with our guests for the past five months and we wish them the very best in their future endeavours.
