From April 5-7, 2019, Snowbombing Canada will bring their party to the mountain for the third year. As host to the only North American destination, Sun Peaks will feature live music throughout the resort, a slush cup event, and more.
Here are 4 things not to miss for 2019.
Major headliners for 2019 include Illenium and Cypress Hill. Illenium, an American musician, DJ and producer, will keep you dancing the night away with his electronic hits. Hip-hop group, Cypress Hill, will be bringing their hits like 'Insane in the Brain' to the hill. Other big acts include Adventure Club, The Funk Hunters, and Griz.
The festival doesn't take place on just one stage; the fun is about exploring all aspects of Sun Peaks. Head to The Underground for a dark atmospheric space to listen to techno and house music into the night, or The Crystal Cave inside the Sun Peaks Grand Hotel for lights, lasers, and special live acts. Other stages include The Street Party, The Sunset Terrace at the top of the Sunburst Express chairlift, and Basecamp.
One of the most magical times of the season is spring skiing; epic bluebird days and working on the goggle tan. Break out the costumes and take part in the theme days while you're on the slopes; Friday is Dynamic Duos, Saturday is Vintage Ski, and Sunday is Onesie Funsie.
