Project X Theatre - X-Fest
From July 9-28, enjoy family-friendly outdoor theatre with Project X at Prince Charles Park. X Fest 2018 will feature two plays, including a female led adaptation of The Three Musketeers and The Three Munsch-keteers, a fast-paced adventure highlighting five Robert Munsch stories. Tickets are $15 for children, $17 for students 13+, $23 for seniors and $28 for adults.
BIG Little Science Centre
Located at 655 Holt Street, the BIG Little Science Centre is a great place for those looking to escape the summer heat. Featuring over 140 exhibits as well as daily interactive shows. Open Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, drop in admission fees are FREE for children under 6, $3 for children 6-15, $6 for adults and $15 for the family.
Rivertown Players
Every Tuesday to Saturday, catch the Rivertown Players and their FREE family-friendly theatre performances at various locations throughout Kamloops. BC Wildlife Park
Hop aboard the Wildlife Express Miniature Train, experience one of the many animal encounters or visit the farm animals at the Home Hardware Corral at the BC Wildlife Park. Located just 20 minutes from downtown Kamloops, this 105-acre wildlife rehabilitation refuge also includes the Zippity Zoo Zone Playground and Splash Park. Open daily from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm. Free for children (2 and under), $11.95 for children 3-17, $15.95 for adults and $49.95 for a family pass (2 adults, 2 children).
Riverside Park
For a truly Kamloops summertime experience, make sure to spend some time with your family at Riverside Park. Located in downtown Kamloops just off Lorne Street, this park includes a beach, playground and splash park. Enjoy a picnic and stick around to enjoy FREE entertainment at Music in the Park, held each evening at the Rotary Bandshell.
