Events Happening In July

As the Tournament Capital of Canada, Kamloops will be buzzing with events throughout July. From sports tournaments to charming markets and performing arts festivals, get ready to immerse yourself in a month filled with fun and unforgettable experiences in Kamloops.

  • Starting July | Music In The Park: Experience the enchanting atmosphere of Riverside Park in July and August with the city's free, nightly summer concert series. Supported by the City of Kamloops and BCLC, this exciting event showcases diverse musical genres, including blues, rock, classics, country, tribute bands, and family-friendly acts (See the full Schedule here). Take in the captivating performances at the Riverside Park Rotary Bandshell from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. each evening, considering that shows are subject to weather and air quality conditions. 

  • July 7-9 | Tk'emlúps 2 Rivers Remix: An Indigenous music feast is set to come to the Tk'emlups powwow arbour, featuring well-known acts as well as local talent. This is a free event that has over 40 Indigenous artists and is headlined by Hasila hip hop group Snotty Rez Kids and electric powwow group Halluci Nation (previously known as A Tribe Called Red).

  • July 7-9 | Kamloops Gem & Mineral Show: This three-day event organized by CanGems brings together collectors, dealers, and enthusiasts to explore a diverse selection of fossils, crystals, gems and minerals.   • July 27-30 | Buskers Festival 2023: Kamloops welcomes the world to our beautiful Riverside Park. Professional street performers from the local region, across Canada and worldwide will converge for the 4th annual Kamloops International Buskers Festival. This event is family-oriented and is free to attend, but tips for the performers are welcome!

  • July 23 | Farm 2 Chefs Grazing Events 2023: A celebration of Kamloops's local food scene. Join us for an evening at Privato Vineyard to taste the best of the region. Local chefs, wineries, breweries, and farmers will all come together to provide tastings. The evening's proceeds will go to the ESTR program at TRU which provides students with diverse abilities with experiential learning opportunities.

  • July 23 | Overlanders Day: The 8th annual Overlanders Day Community event has something for everyone! There will be a food expo, entertainment stage, and a Kidz Zone that will take up the entire end of the park with a 45’ obstacle course, slide & bouncy castle, face painting, crafts, games, golf, and clown. A business and community expo with 90+ vendors of crafts artisans & local businesses and so much more!

  • July 14 | Monte Creek Winery Cooking Class: Join Red Seal chef Kuzina Messer Culinaire for a unique 3-course Farm-to-Table cooking class with wine pairings from Monte Creek Winery.
