Kamloops Art Gallery

Connect and learn about art at the Kamloops Art Gallery with their two new exhibitions on display from local Kamloops artists. Casting the Eye Adrift by Donald Lawrence brings together major sculptural works, videos, photographs, drawings, and models; they represent Lawrence's interest in the intersection of art, science, technology, and wilderness. Pleasant Field by Anyssa Fortie features an immersive installation of abstracted memories from her past experiences to see how they have transformed over time. The KAG is open Tuesday - Saturday from 10am-5pm with free admission on Thursdays courtesy of BCLC. The Gallery Store also offers unique and intriguing gifts and art merchandise.

Kamloops Museum & Archives

Immerse yourself in Kamloops' history and culture at the Kamloops Museum & Archives. They have re-opened with a new exhibition that presents the historical records of the Royal Inland Hospital and the Tranquille Sanitorium. Children can explore history in a fun way by embarking on a scavenger hunt to explore new artifacts that are placed within the Children's Museum on the first floor. Open Tuesday - Saturday from 9:30am - 4:30pm.

Twin Rivers Drive-In

Enjoy the nostalgia of a drive-in movie theatre at the pop-up Twin Rivers Drive-In at McArthur Island Park. Every Friday-Sunday through July and August, catch a family-friendly flick at 9:30pm and a more adult-oriented flick at 11:30pm. Grab your social circle (6 max in your vehicle) and pack your movie snacks - buttery popcorn and a chocolatey treat to enjoy an outdoor movie night.

Back Alley Art Gallery Tour

Take a self-guided tour of over 30 distinct art murals located in downtown Kamloops.
