Western Canada Theatre, in association with Thousand Islands Playhouse, Gananoque presents the classic country favourite, A CLOSER WALK WITH PATSY CLINE February 25 – March 5 at Sagebrush Theatre.
Patsy Cline's popularity is witnessed by the fact that her recordings are the top jukebox play in the world. Although she will never be replaced, A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline is a tribute to her spirit and a celebration of her music. Audiences will be treated to outstanding performances of Patsy’s greatest hits, including “Walkin’ After Midnight,” “Crazy”, and “I Fall To Pieces.”
WCT Artistic Director Daryl Cloran says the show follows the journey made by Cline from small-town Virginia to Carnegie Hall.“This production will transport you back in time, and you will swear that Patsy Cline is standing right in front of you on the Sagebrush stage. Great tunes, a great band, and country music’s greatest lady. I know you’ll love it.”
