He Brew's Ahava Coffee

Family-owned, He Brew’s Ahava Coffee, is a new, bustling cafe brewing up innovative, gourmet coffee and espresso drinks with a Caribbean flavour in downtown Kamloops. In addition, they freshly roast coffee beans and are cooking up foodie faves from around the world like sandwiches, wraps, fresh salads, soups and pastries. The Botanical Scene

Crazy plant lovers commence. Sister store, Far & Wide, started The Botanical Scene as a plant pop-up store in late 2020, and has now permanently opened in downtown Kamloops. Score common and hard to find plants like String of Turtles or satisfy your retail craving with unique pots, home decor, and other plant-life products. Kamloops Water Sports Rentals

Looking to explore Kamloops waterways? Paddle the South Thompson River and take in the scenic sights of Riverside Park, and Mt. Peter and Mt. Paul by canoe, kayak or stand up paddleboard. Kamloops Water Sport Rentals offers day rentals, which includes paddle route suggestions, tips, and the basics of paddling. The Cure Culinary

Charcuterie lovers rejoice. The Cure Culinary Provisions has opened a storefront in downtown  Kamloops serving up local and BC ingredients for a perfect board or a picnic in the park. Inspire Trails Horsemanship

Giddy up and hit the trails of the Thompson-Nicola by horseback through grasslands and along lakes with Inspire Trails Horsemanship. Guided tours are offered in the morning or afternoon and range from medium to long trail rides for up to 6 guests per group. Keep your eye out along the way for wildlife such as eagles, beavers, and moose. Inspire Trails will be opening for the 2021 season on May 28.

Ice Creameries

Did you hear the latest scoop? Ice cream shops are spread out across the city. Frozen Paddle, a craft ice creamery inspired by the craft beer movement, is serving up unique flavours with in-house made ingredients in downtown Kamloops. Choose from their Frozen 8 (always on scoop) with flavours like Salted Caramel or Haskap, dairy free options, or their four limited edition flavours added each month - hello Mini Eggs or Chocolate Banana Bread.
