We’re prepping for summer and Kamloops is ready to show you what we’ve got. From swinging on the course and shredding the trails to hitting up suds and grub spots that will tickle your fancy… there’s no shortage of things to do. Ready to see what we got?

Our Kind of Swingin’

Are you into playing a round of 9 holes or taking the driver to practice your swing at the driving range? Mt. Paul Golf Course has it all. With a location admiring the view of Mount Paul, the driving range has twenty covered stalls and an upper deck with 10 stalls where you can swing off on before hitting the greens. Whether you birdie or bogey your way through 9-holes, the par 32 course is ideal for the novice golfers looking to test their luck or the experienced golfer practicing their game. Be sure to apres in their licensed on-site restaurant taking in the view.

Tip: Until June 30, use your Luv’n the Loops Pass to access a free bucket of balls for the driving range with a round of 9-holes purchased.

Gnar in the Park

Make sure your bike is tuned up! Sun Peaks Bike Park officially opens for the season on June 27 - Progression Park open on June 17. From wide berms on green trails or flowy blues like iconic Canada Line to black diamonds like Steam Shovel, shredders can test their skills and progress through the park or vets can jump right in for fun all day long. The expansion this season includes lift-accessed trails on two mountains as well as cross-country trails on Mt. Morrissey. For modified

Summer Sippin’

Did you know - the Thompson Valley produces bright, award-winning wines? Pop those bottles for summer along the Kamloops Wine Trail because it’s wine o’clock all summer long with events taking place! Here’s a peek at what’s on at the wineries, and be sure to get your tickets before they’re gone:

Harper’s Trail: Live music with Field Blend Fridays

Privato: Music in the Vineyard, Sunday Sessions, and Happy Hour Yoga

Monte Creek: Fitness Events such as Zumba in the Vineyard and ‘Muddy Paws’ SPCA Walk

Wine With a View

Nothing says summer weather like a glass of Rosé or Pinot Gris paired with local eats overlooking the South Thompson River. The patio at Monte Creek Winery is open for the season with cuisine by Chef Romeo at Terrace Restaurant, where you can enjoy a bottle of Monte Creek wine with your lunch paired with the breathtaking views. The winery is also fur-baby friendly on the grassy area outside - ideal for a picnic!

Tip: With Luv’n the Loops, access 2 for 1 wine tastings but only until June 30!

Brews In a Pool

Can you guess what time it is? That’s right… it’s patio time! And in case you didn’t know, the Noble Pig Brewhouse’s patio is converted from an old swimming pool (sorry, not brews in a real pool). While you can’t sip with your toes dipped in the water, the swimming pool rules and coloured deck will have you feeling like they are. Dive into a pint of their classic Big Bad Wolf IPA or Strawhouse Lager, or enjoy one of their rotating seasonal taps.

Tip: Access 15% off their infamous Crispy Pickles with the Luv’n the Loops Pass. Act quick, the savings will disappear on June 30.

Fresh Products Galore

The countdown is officially on! The Kweseltken Farmer’s & Artisan Market starts for the season on Sunday, June 26, occurring every Sunday until September 25. The Market will be at the Kamloopa Powwow Arbour from 8 am-2 pm where local Indigenous and non-Indigenous business people or partnerships will showcase their products - locally crafted, grown, or produced items. The Kweseltken Kitchen will also be joining, as well as delicious food, traditional medicines, artisanal products, and fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables.
