We wrapped up a Spring Golf Campaign in partnership with WestJet. It was our first time working directly with an airline to promote our destination and although there were a few learning curves in there, the campaign was an overall success. The goal was to market the new flight from Edmonton and promote Kamloops as an ideal destination to stay and play. Our marketing initiatives were spanned across multiple platforms including magazine ads, Global TV ads, bus signage, mail drop, google ads and e-mail marketing. We deemed the campaign to be a success in terms of increasing awareness for Kamloops and in-bound flights. We saw a 15% increase in visits to our website over the same period last year and a 14% increase in pageviews. Of that, we saw a 24% increase in visitation from Alberta and more specifically a 165% increase from Edmonton.
