Kamloops Arts Council Presents – Two distinct exhibitions Larry Pilcher’s ~ AU CONTRAIRE and  CRANE STANDING IN THE SHADOW OF SONG by Mike Alexander

Two separate art exhibitions in the KAC Galleries.
Admission by donation.

Gallery Hours: Tues to Fri 10 am – 5 pm, Sat 10 am – 4 pm.

~ AU CONTRAIRE by Larry Pilcher is an exhibit of larger than life paintings that send out a message of remembrance from the natural world. “We can only hope and never give up in the face of overwhelming progress and conformity.” ~Larry.

CRANE STANDING IN THE SHADOW OF SONG by Mike Alexander … An Anishinaabe Worldview. Large canvases of animals and clans capturing a shamanic interpretation of the world around us with bold flowing lines and colour. “These animals, these clans, they are teachers. They inform the Anishinaabe of the important lessons in life.” ~Mike

COMBINED OPENING RECEPTION: Sat Aug 17, 1 – 5 pm
