The Kamloops Film Society is thrilled to announce that the 2021 Kamloops Film Festival is a go! The festival, which has been slightly postponed and mightily reimagined due to the COVID-19 Pandemic will return April 21 to May 2. The 24.5th Annual KFF will take place at the Twin Rivers Drive-In (McArthur Island Park), which was successfully piloted last summer, and online - through new industry technology that will ensure the viewing experience is intuitive and engaging.
In some ways, this will be the biggest KFF ever, as it takes place over 12 days, instead of the usual 10, and will feature more feature films than ever before. The 20 person KFF Committee is hard at work programming the films, planning the (COVID safe) events, and coordinating the logistics. The goal is to reinvent the KFF into an exciting event that the community can get jazzed about, not just a watered down version of the past.
Along with amazing films, the KFF will feature concession items, available for pre order, and partnerships with local eateries delivering a KFF specific menu for pickup, dine-in, and delivery! Plus so much more!!
The film lineup will include:
- Falls Around Her
- Our Friend
- First Cow
- Blue Note Records: Beyond the Notes
- The Father
- Another Round
- Two of Us
