Celebrate an evening of music and a remarkable legacy with A Classic Concert, presented by the Kamloops Community Concert Band as they bid farewell to longtime music director Cliff Noakes.
Co-founder of the band in 2001, Cliff has spent 25 years helping shape the Kamloops Community Concert Band into a vibrant part of the local music community. This special farewell performance celebrates his dedication and contributions before he passes the baton to incoming music director Jaymi Daniels.
The concert features a lively mix of classic rock, folk, pop, swing, and traditional wind band favourites, with music from Benny Goodman, Frank Sinatra, Queen, Frank Ticheli, and Gustav Holst.
The performance takes place on Wednesday, November 18 at 7:30 pm at Valleyview Secondary School Theatre. Tickets are $15 and are available online in advance or at the door.
