CMK presents Exploring Prodigy

Chamber Musicians of Kamloops opens its season with Exploring Prodigy, featuring the newly formed Kamloops String Quartet.

The program explores works by three remarkable musical prodigies: Crisóstomo Arriaga, often referred to as the “Spanish Mozart,” Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and Benjamin Britten.

The Kamloops String Quartet features Cvetozar Vutev and Timoteus Carlson on violin, Annette Dominik on viola, and Laure Matiakh on cello. Special guests Ephrem Howell, countertenor, and Nathan Howell, piano, will also join the ensemble for this evening of chamber music.
