This December, join the Coast Kamloops Hotel for a heartwarming community event — the 2024 Gingerbread House Competition, running from December 1 to December 24, in partnership with the Kamloops Y Women’s Emergency Shelter.

Throughout the month, you are invited to view and judge the creative and festive gingerbread house entries at Uptown Chefs Catering + Events and ROMEOs Kitchen + Spirits. The houses will be displayed daily from 9 AM to 8 PM, and admission is free for all!

We encourage visitors to bring a toy or gift donation for the Kamloops Y Women’s Shelter. Hampers will be available on-site for drop-off, and your contributions will help brighten the holidays for families in need.

For every house entered, Uptown Chefs Catering + Events and ROMEOs Kitchen + Spirits will generously donate $10 to support the shelter.
