The Kamloops Symphony Orchestra opens its 50th Anniversary Season with a special evening celebrating the orchestra’s past, present, and future.

Originally planned in collaboration with acclaimed Cree/Mennonite cellist and composer Cris Derksen, the concert now carries additional significance following her unexpected passing in May 2026. As the program continues to evolve, this opening night will honour creativity, community, and the enduring power of music to bring people together.
