Featuring local playwrights and local actors, community theatre puts on two shows for the price of one:
“Allen’s Nine Murders” written by Andrew Robertson and Dan Ondang
“The Murder of Arthur Wong” written by Dan Ondang
Kamloops Players Society is happy to announce their 3rd annual Fall into Drama featuring “Allen’s Nine Murders” written by Andrew Robertson and Dan Ondang and “The Murder of Arthur Wong” written by Dan Ondang. The Kamloops local playwrights wrote these two one-acts with serious topics in a comedic way and challenge the audience to confront the absurdity of their own mortality.
“Allen’s Nine Murders” features a telemarketer that has a crisis of conscious and starts volunteering for the Suicide Hotline doing cold calls. After intermission, “The Murder of Arthur Wong” explores the dystopian universe where you cannot die without government approval.
The Kamloops Players Society (KPS) is the oldest community theatre in the area and is a group dedicated to providing exceptional theatre and fostering a love for the performing arts. The cast and crew of the Fall into Drama invite Kamloops for a night out full of questionable relationships, suspicious deaths, and dark comedy.
Guests can purchase one ticket to see both shows!
