LA BOLA NEGRA - The Kamloops Film Society

Explore a powerful story of love, identity, and connection across generations with La Bola Negra, presented as part of the Kamloops Film Society's Queer Film Series at the Paramount Theatre.

Inspired by an unfinished work by Spanish poet and playwright Federico García Lorca, the film follows the intertwined lives of three men across three different eras. Connected through themes of sexuality, desire, loss, and legacy, their stories explore the lasting impacts of war, homophobia, and love left unspoken.

Directed by Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi, La Bola Negra brings together intimate storytelling and striking visuals in a moving exploration of identity and human connection.

The film is presented in Spanish with English subtitles. Tickets are available at thekfs.ca or at the box office when doors open.
