Kick off the holiday season at the 46th Annual Downtown Kamloops Santa Claus Parade, returning Sunday, November 22 with the 2026 theme “Merry and Bright.”
Downtown Kamloops will come alive with festive floats, community groups, music, Christmas lights, and a special appearance from Santa Claus. This year’s theme puts an extra focus on lights, encouraging parade participants to make Victoria Street brighter than ever.
Make an afternoon of it with a free screening of the holiday classic A Christmas Story at the Paramount Theatre at 2:00 pm before the parade. Advance reservations for the film are encouraged as seating is limited.
The parade begins at 4:00 pm, travelling from 2nd Avenue and St. Paul Street along Victoria Street before finishing near 6th Avenue. The parade is free to attend and will also be livestreamed for those unable to attend in person.
