Silversmithing Workshop: Spinner Ring

November 21, 2026

Get creative with metalworking in this hands-on Spinner Ring Workshop, where participants will design and craft their own unique piece of jewellery using traditional silversmithing techniques.

Also known as fidget rings or meditation rings, spinner rings feature movable outer bands that spin freely around a wider inner ring. Inspired by Tibetan prayer wheels, these stylish and interactive rings combine creativity, craftsmanship, and movement.

During this four-hour workshop, participants will learn how to texture, form, solder, and flare metal to create a custom spinner ring. Choose from copper and brass materials, with the option to incorporate sterling silver for an additional cost. No previous experience is necessary, making this a great introduction to silversmithing in a supportive studio environment.

Copper and brass materials are included. Sterling silver is available for purchase at the studio, with pricing subject to market rates.

Space is limited, and advance registration is encouraged. The workshop is intended for ages 16+, although younger teens may attend when accompanied by a registered adult.
