Join in to celebrate Black History Month 2026 with The Black Canvas Exhibition, commemorating 30 years of Black History Month in Canada. This exhibition showcases art, stories, and cultural expressions that highlight the creativity, resilience, and brilliance of Black voices across generations.

2026 Theme: Honouring Black Brilliance Across Generations – Canada

The exhibition invites audiences to celebrate, reflect, and connect with the rich history and vibrant culture of the Black community in Kamloops and beyond.

There will also be a special exhibition reception event on February 7. Highlights include:
