The Grey Fox - The Kamloops Film Society

Discover the story of one of British Columbia’s most notorious historical figures with a free screening of The Grey Fox at the Paramount Theatre.

This award-winning Canadian film follows Old West outlaw Bill Miner, known as the “Gentleman Bandit,” as he is released from prison after 33 years and returns to a dramatically changed world. Set against the landscapes of British Columbia, the film explores the life and legend of a figure with deep connections to Kamloops.

Following the screening, Dr. Peter Murphy will lead a panel discussion, “Fact and Fiction in the Making of the Bill Miner Legend,” exploring the true story behind Bill Miner and how his legend has evolved over time.

A 19+ cash bar with wine available for purchase will be offered during the event.
