Kamloops Votes 2026: Candidate Perspectives on Tourism

About the Candidate Questionnaire

As Kamloops' official destination marketing organization, Tourism Kamloops is proud to be a non-partisan organization dedicated to growing our local visitor economy and supporting tourism businesses.

Ahead of the municipal election on Saturday, October 17, 2026, Tourism Kamloops invited all mayoral and council candidates to share their perspectives and priorities on key tourism-related topics. Candidates were asked to respond to six questions, and submissions were due by October 2, 2026.

To support informed decision-making, we are sharing the responses below so our tourism industry partners and community members can learn more about where candidates stand on issues that impact Kamloops' visitor economy.
