Holiday Campaign: A Festive Adventure
From November 1 to December 22, our Holiday Campaign is spreading cheer and spotlighting the magic of Kamloops during this cozy, festive season. From unique gift ideas to wintery experiences, the campaign has captured the hearts of visitors and locals alike.
As the Holiday Campaign wraps, we’re already gearing up for the Winter Campaign, running December 23 through February 28. This year’s campaign is set to focus on snow sports with activities at Harper Mountain and Overlander Park. We’re still in the planning stages, but one thing’s for sure – it’s going to be a creative and inspiring celebration of Kamloops’ outdoor winter adventures. Stay tuned for details!
Partnering with Destination BC: A Creative Leap
New this year to Destination BC's Co-op Programs is the Arts BC Co-op—a perfect match for our commitment to cultural vibrancy. We're thrilled to be part of this program in its inaugural year! Our team is eager to leverage the program’s app to spotlight Kamloops’ incredible local arts and cultural experiences, inspiring both residents and visitors to dive in and explore.
We’re also stoked about our collaboration with Everything Wine! With five locations across the Lower Mainland, they’re helping promote the Kamloops Brew and running a fantastic contest that invites participants to win a trip to Kamloops.
CrowdRiff Creators: Capturing Kamloops’ Essence
This year, our partnership with CrowdRiff Creators has been a massive win. With over 500 assets collected – from jaw-dropping landscapes to candid moments – we’ve fueled our social media, digital ads, billboards and website content with stunning visuals. Given this success, we’re thrilled to renew the program for 2025.
Digital Excellence: What’s Next for Our Website
It’s no secret that our new website has been a big improvement in comparison to our old site. Phase 2 of our website updates is on the horizon, and it’s all about enhancing user experience. Big things are coming, including a chatbot, e-commerce integration, and ongoing SEO improvements. It’s not just a pretty “face”; we’re building a site that works smarter to connect visitors with their Kamloops adventure.
Instagram Triumphs: Going Viral
Who doesn’t love a little viral fame? One of our recent Instagram videos racked up 93,400 plays, reached 54,401 accounts, and sparked 2,870 interactions. Riding the wave of this success, we’re diving into more content with this strategy, aiming to capture attention in fun and weirdly awesome ways that Kamloops is known for.
