Meet Cliff: Tourism Kamloops' Newest Tourism Ambassador
Tourism Kamloops is excited to introduce you to our newest Tourism Ambassador, Cliff!
Cliff was “adopted” from the BC Wildlife Park earlier this summer, and joined our BOLD Street Team summer visitor ambassadors as they supported the city at major events and local hotspots. Cliff has also become a main character on Tourism Kamloops’ social media platforms, often in the spotlight of highlighting attractions and things to do around Kamloops, such as Riverside Park, Kamloops International Cup, Sun Peaks, and more!
Cliff is a California Bighorn Sheep, a mammal native to Western North America. Named after their iconic big horns, California Bighorn Sheep can be seen throughout Kamloops, especially on the cliffs of Mount Paul, Mount Peter, and the North and South Thompson Rivers. Cliff was named by our BOLD Ambassador team in tandem with a vote from our social media followers, and we couldn’t be happier with his name – an homage to his natural habitat.
