The BOLD Street Team is a team of Visitor Experience Ambassadors, who not only promote Kamloops attractions and events, but also a heck of a lot more. You can find the team all over Kamloops at places such as BC Wildlife Park all year, Music in the Park (July and August), the Kamloops Farmer’s Market (Saturday and Wednesday), as well as at tournaments and special events.

Whether you are a Kamloops local searching for new adventures, an industry partner looking for resources, or a visitor looking for the Real Kamloops Experience, our BOLD Street Team members are passionate, knowledgeable, and ready to help in whatever way they can!

With over month of visitor servicing under our belts, the BOLD Street Team has already had the chance to support local and visitors alike at events such as the BC Lions Block Party in Downtown Kamloops, The Canadian Enduro League at Harper Mountain, The Kamloops NorthPaws on McArthur Island, and Hoops in the Loops on Victoria Street, among many pop-up booths throughout Riverside Park and other favourite spots throughout the city. Our calendar is jam packed with many upcoming events, including National Indigenous Peoples Day, The Kamloopa Powwow, Busker’s Festival, Ribfest, and Kamloops Pride Week. We have had a great time out in the community so far and are just getting started!

Let us introduce you to the 2024 BOLD Street Team below! We are ready to engage and assist – feel free to reach out to us via text or call at 778-586-8687 or email at , or check out the BOLD Calendar to find out where we’ll be popping up next!

MEET BRAD

Hello everyone! My name is Brad, and I am excited to be part of this years BOLD Street Team!  I am originally from Spruce Grove, Alberta, just outside of Edmonton. I moved to Kamloops 3 years ago to pursue a Bachelors in Tourism Management. Since moving here, I have gained a greater interest in outdoor activities, such as golfing, paddleboarding and hiking! I look forward to a great summer, make sure to come say hi at our booths!

MEET WREN

Hi there! My name is Wren, and I am stoked to be part of Tourism Kamloops’ BOLD Street Team this summer! I grew up in Hudson’s Hope which is a small town of less than 1000 people, so Kamloops is a big city for me. I’ve been studying at TRU for the past three years and I’m currently working towards a degree in Tourism Management. This will be my first summer staying in Kamloops so I’m super excited to explore and learn more about the area. I have a passion for sports, events, and people, and I love figure skating and hanging out with my friends. Can’t wait for the adventures that this summer holds! Bring on the heat, I’m ready!

MEET LUCA

Hi, everyone! My name is Luca, and I am super excited to be a part of the BOLD Street Team this summer. I was born and raised in Kamloops, and I am eager to show off our amazing city and help visitors experience Kamloops like a local. In my spare time I enjoy playing soccer at the numerous parks in town, golfing at our scenic courses and discovering new food at local hotspots. I have just completed my first year in a Bachelor of Applied Science (Engineering) at the University of British Columbia and I plan to return to Vancouver after this summer to continue my degree. See you out and about in Kamloops!

MEET HASSAN

Hello fun people! My name is Hassan, and I am an international student studying Data Science at TRU. Getting to be part of Tourism Kamloops’ summer street team is one of the best experiences one could get whilst studying in Kamloops. I started working with Tourism Kamloops as a volunteer and am now very lucky to now be part of this super cool team! Kamloops has a plethora of attractions, of which my favourites are its lakes, trails, and campgrounds, all within an hour's drive. What’s more, I also get to meet people from around the world, although it’s the locals who amaze me the most! Their passion and stories behind their business are so original and inspiring. Looking forward to a great summer!
