If you operate a seasonal tourism business, having great qualified and committed employees return year after year can be critical to the success of your operation.
While this may not always be easy, workplaces that put employees first will naturally attract and retain the best people.
Here are a few things you can start doing now, before your best summer seasonal employees leave, to help motivate them to come back next year:
- Talk openly with your departing employees
- Stay in touch to make employees feel part of the team throughout the year
- Help employees find work in the off-season
- Offer employee incentives
