Tourism Kamloops is adding a little sizzle to summer at Riverside Park with the activation of the old concession space as a community hub for one last hurrah. All summer, park goers are invited to have some fun with water sport rentals, lawn games, cool treats and more. The City of Kamloops is scheduled to remove The Concession for flood-mitigation planning in fall 2021.

Three organizations are operating out of The Concession including: Sea Legs Water Bikes, Kamloops Water Sport Rentals, and Tourism Kamloops. Visitors can rent water bikes, kayaks, canoes and fishing rods onsite to use on the Thompson River with professional advice and support from the certified businesses. Beach fun and games will also be available for rent for $15/hr where you can mix and match activities such as bocce, spike ball, and croquet sets. Click here for the food truck and activation schedule including live music.

Hours of Operation

The Concession is open every day from June 24 to September 7 from 12:00 pm – 8:00pm. The Bold Street Team will be onsite for visitor information and can be contacted directly by texting or calling 778-586-8687.
