I am Lisa Daburger, my husband Norm and I are the the owner/operators of Harper Mountain Ski Area, 20 minutes from Kamloops.
What do you and Norm enjoy most about being the Owner/Operators at Harper Mountain?
Our family has operated Harper Mountain for 46 years, we have really enjoyed watching our own family and our guest families grow over the years.
I often hear, "I learned to ski here, now I'm excited to bring my kids, or grand-kids".
It’s a super 'fun' industry and we love to see our guests enjoying all the different winter experiences such as downhill skiing/snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and tubing. And it's healthy too!
What is Harper Mountain's most unique feature?
Our family-friendly atmosphere and the close-knit community of family and friends is really special. The atmosphere is quaint, the log beam day lodge is traditional and old fashioned, and the licensed cafeteria boasts big windows to take in the views (a great place to watch the skiers on the mountain and the sliders in Tube Park).
Is Harper Mountain FIT and Group Friendly?
You bet we are! I personally work with groups to accommodate all their needs from activities to lunch. We have free parking, and ample bus parking.

Chairlift access snowshoeing!
This product includes snowshoeing down to the chairlift, experiencing the chairlift ride up, and then hiking back down in snowshoes through the quiet forest.
