Taste Around BC - Are You In?

Tourism Kamloops is proud to once again sponsor the Taste Around program, partnering with the BCRFA and series coordinators to promote participating restaurants and hotels. This exciting initiative is a fantastic way to showcase Kamloops' incredible dining and hospitality scene during the new year.
January 21 - February 8, 2026
To support our restaurant and accommodation partners, Tourism Kamloops will cover 50% of new membership costs for the first FIVE Kamloops businesses that sign up to participate in the 2026 Taste Around event this January. The deadline to register and take advantage of this subsidy is December 19, 2025.
Costs:
- BCRFA members: FREE
- Non-BCRFA restaurant registration: $220.00
- Renewal BCRFA membership: Price depends on membership level
- Please note: to be eligible to get the 50% off subsidy, you need to sign up by December 19, 2025. Only the first five businesses to do so will recieve the subsidy.
Steps to sign up:
Step 1: Sign up for a BCRFA Membership and/or Taste Around (see costs below) – Sign Up HERE
Step 2: Send the required information to Taste Around coordinators (see below)
Step 3: Submit your receipt and proof of participation in the January Taste Around event to for reimbursement of 50% of your membership.
What do we need from you?
- A pre-set dining menu that features three courses. Menu price points can range between $25 - $70 pre-tax, with non-alcoholic beverages included.
- Your restaurant logo (EPS or SVG files preferred).
- A feature photo of your restaurant (your food, atmosphere, etc.).
- If you don’t have a great quality photo, please reach out to Tourism Kamloops, we may have something you could use or may be able to assist in getting some photos done.
- 2 x $25 Gift Cards for the Dine Around contesting program.

Tourism Kamloops is amping up our marketing for this foodie event including the following commitments:
- Mentions in our January Things to Do blog, monthly newsletter to 11K+ subscribers, and weekly events newsletter throughout the event.
- Listing on our Events Calendar.
- $10,000+ in paid social media ads.
- Radio and media ads promoting Taste Around.
- Local billboards promoting Taste Around.
- Organic social posts (minimum 2 in feed posts and 4 stories, we will share Taste Around's content and any participating restaurant's content to stories where appropriate).
