The Kamloops Heritage Railway operates the 1912 steam locomotive 2141 on behalf of the City of Kamloops. Lovingly restored over an eight-year period with over 80,000 hours of volunteer labour, she steamed up in 2001 for the first time since she was retired in 1958. Saved from the scrap yard, she now operates and pulls a heritage train to and from the downtown area.
