Experience the cultural diversity of Kamloops in every season. From dance performances to comedy and drag shows, there’s always a fun event that helps you see our city in a new light. One of the most anticipated events of the summer is Kamloopa Powwow, which attracts 500+ regalia-clad dancers, as well as thousands of spectators.

The LGBTQ2S+ community thrives in Kamloops with queer-owned businesses and vibrant Pride events. Every August, the city bursts with joy and rainbows as we host Kamloops Pride, complete with an inclusive parade and events that champion diversity. You’ll also find pride events throughout the year, including mixers, book clubs, drag bingo, and bowling. The celebrations continue through the winter with Peak Pride at Sun Peaks Ski Resort, a high-altitude haven for fun and solidarity.
